Ms. Bright has been a pivotal figure in shaping my understanding of how to navigate corporate spaces—specifically as a young woman of color. As women, we are often taught to diminish our shine in favor of prioritizing humility and softness. What makes us truly special is the effort we apply towards the causes we care so much about; the depth of our spirit is what moves the world, and I couldn't be more grateful to have her in my corner to remind me of my strength. She has faithfully and patiently guided me as I have ebbed and flowed through phases of confidence and meekness. She has reminded me to never forget who I am and what makes me so special as I navigate uncharted professional territory. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to speak on my experiences with her, and I hope that those who get the chance to meet with her get to enjoy her wisdom just as I have. I honestly don’t know where to START! Whewww!! Let me first just say I am so sure now more than I’ve ever been that having the opportunity to work with such an amazing coach had to be orchestrated by God! Her level of skill and top-tier professionalism is unmatched! She is the Coach you never knew you needed because when I stumbled on one of her videos on social media I wasn’t even looking for a coach! I had so many doubts and fears before starting this journey, and not just in what I felt she could offer but in my own ability to show up for myself. she has completely changed that! She has been the safe space I’ve never experienced anywhere else. The confidence I have now! The boldness in my walk towards a better me! Can’t nobody tell me nothing! lol Coach Kim is truly gifted in what she does, she pulls out the best in you with so much grace and clarity . She has been more than an accountability partner because the many hats she wear as a professional there is no way you’re leaving out the same way you came in! When I say she will be my coach forever! I told her she would have to block me😂.. If you’re even thinking of signing up, do yourself a favor and not miss this experience because it don’t get more real than this! And take it from somebody that sees a therapist outside of Coach and that therapist could never! I saw no real movement nor did I have any desire to move until I met Coach Kim.. I’m going to use 3 words to describe my experience with Kim as my coach. Truth – OK if truth is what you are looking for, Kim is the coach for you.  I happen to love the truth in all forms because I believe it was what we are all seeking, but sometimes we simply can’t see it.  This is where Kim shines as she asks insightful questions and patiently listens (while forming the next question that will put you on pause).   I even tried to “wiggle” my way around a question and she quickly caught on, and we were able to get to a very powerful outcome as a result. Tough – Everybody wants the diamonds of life but they don’t want the pressure needed to create them.  This is why I liked Kims approach as she cared enough to gently push me through some hard questions and realities I was facing.  I’m a better person as a result and pursuing my dream that’s big enough to scare me, but I’m pressing in anyway! Balance – Finally there is a balance of truth and grace, we all need both.  At times I’m laughing at something she said (and her way of saying it!) and at others I’m sitting back in my chair thinking…how can she “see” all of this, and I can’t? The easiest way through the hard truths of our life as we travel towards our destiny is to take a coaching journey filled with grace, patience, truth, and a heart to serve, and Kim brings all of the above and I’m a better version of myself as a result.
